Improving transport UI

I had an idea for improving transport ui:

Giving multiple unload commands would cause you unload things 1 by 1, with everything remaining being unloaded at the last unload command. Right now unload just drops everything.

the same stuff than when you click on the unit, and drop it ?

how would you know which unit gonna be drop if you do as you say (if you have 3 mantis and 3 engie in a transport)

Maybe it could drop engies first, tanks last. I just want it to be better at the simple task of dropping engies around, making it good for mixed drops is secondary for me because they are less relevant imo.

Gonna hijack the thread, when issuiing the ferry command, is there a way to make the strategic icon useable before the transport is landed? Having to wait seconds before I can tell units to use the ferry or other transport to assit the ferry makes it abit too tedious for use in the heat of battle.

For a practical use of the ferry function it would be much more important to let the ferry route live even if the 1st transporter on the route dies. As of now it gets remove and all supporting transports stop working.

I thought in one of the patches within the last year it was changed and ferry routes didnt die anymore but it was never implemented somehow. I remember it was in a beta faf possible. Would be interesting to know why it was removed again.

It was tested in beta and removed because it didn't work. Buggy as all hell.
