Give mapping its own forum

To the point: Make mapping its own forum like Mods instead of being a subforum of general discussion. It's not a general discussion and maps are content like mods. Also, too many people never find the mapping forum despite looking for it (they always say they never think to look under general discussion). They might be a minority of people but it's still a significant amount.

Mapping is really the most dead general forum, it's used either if a new mapper needs help or if someone has a map forum to update

also, people are not doing as much mapping seeing as the vaults are down, but hey

It wasnt that dead, but obviously it was pretty much as active as mod forum, you don't discuss that many things there as in suggestions or GD. So only when someone wanted to make map or already made one.
