Re map the function of the shift key

Postby manread » 26 Oct 2015, 21:44

Right now the shift key is responsible for queueing up orders and selecting 5 units to build from a fac instead of 1. My question is: Is it possible to re map these functions to a different button? I'm thinking that the spacebar would be a good option because you can reach most of the keyboard while holding the spacebar.

I've already looked through the key bindings menu and it wasn't in there so I was just curious as to whether its possible or not.

This is an excellent suggestion. I've had to rebind keys over and over to accommodate this and I've never been able to find a way to use the queue with all the commands available!

Maybe. If possible at all, it would be annoying to implement.

You could get a 3rd party program to intercept space keys and send shift keys maybe

You can try something like Razor's Synapse? Although you will also have the keys switched outside the game...
I'm watching you!
