Make ACU upgrades reclaimable/undone with 85% payback

to help the cybran ACU as well as others in having more fun and help the players to switch upgrades in game much more.
i just thought over it today and i just ask you all what you think about it?!:

except the RAS upgrades, ACUs should give us the option to get about 85% if the upgrade investment back when changing it.
it culd then ask if you want to remove it instantly (by behaving as it is) or, behaving like a reclaim that can also be assisted.


if you have build storage or are going to build an experimental or whatever besides this, you could pump this extra mass and energy into other things.
OR, store it and then upgrade to a different direction.
this would help any fraction and be good for everything.
what do you think?

I think it's fine this way. This way upgrades are more strategic because they're lost resources and if you want to switch up you have to think if it's worth it.

right now its really a throw away deal when just changing the strategy.

if you do not lose all that has been put into, the change is not wasted alltogether.

but i guess this has also been discussed before.

People still get them. Its not exactly wasted mass. If for example you swap aeon range for t2/t3, you most likely made use of that upgrade (or should have) during that time to make it worth it. And later in the game the mass it took you is insignificant anyways. Same for most things I think, if you replace the RAS you wont get back eco, but it was generating when you needed it.

maybe it even pays off faster when the Overcharge is made better when deciding for gun upgrade?!
the veterancy is the payoff... ok, but you also risk being shot with the low health (especially as cybran.. again).

I don't support this idea, it would mean that you can get away with choosing x upgrade and you basically are covered for anything else in similar price range. Even if your eco is getting trashed you can still get gun for example. It would mean that acquiring the other upgrade is a mere build time issue.
