Sequentially upgrading MEXes

Postby ZeRen » 27 Aug 2015, 19:42

there is a mod "V2 FA Sequentially upgrading extractors V4" in vaults

what about implement it into FAF when it still work? Can you imagine how much this could be usefull for lower rated players(like me) to handle lot of MEXes?

MEX management need too much attention and it is really annoying when you have lot of MEXes and have to eco up
come on this is real time STRATEGY and not real time ecowhoring
( there is more ways to make ecoing more enjoyable though )

----------------
could have two improvements:
1)it could show which mex will go upgrade first, second, third,... by small number near MEX ( just to show upgrading order)
2)shortcut for this

Ecoing is not annoying, once you learn to manage your base, its easy.

it is, maybe not for you...
not everyone has that skill to manage that...

someone said on forum that in FAF is not enough competitive player, or good players, looks like you dont want more good players and this could help some players

when I play bigger maps, I cant focus on planning my strategy, becouse I have to spend so much time for ecoing, thats why I dont play 1v1 on bigger maps

It would be nice to reduce the amount of clicks required, but showing numbers which mex will upgrade first won't do that either. And to completely automate ecoing with 1 hotkey is too much.

well you can upgrade mexx with 1 click in eco mod. that reduce a lot the micro required in macro-management.
i'm not sure why people complaining about ecoing taking lot of time. I bet my micro-management + army positioning = 70% of my apm; and ecoing + base stuff = 30%.

you can bind a key to select the closest lowest mex.
then you press the upgrade key.
do it as many times you can afford/want.
isn't that easy enough?
