CZAR what if..

What if you could toggle the laser on and off so it would constantly fire while flying? Every time you send it to attack something in the middle of the base it ignores everything till it gets there. Would not happen with land experimentals or even Soul Ripper.

I see it shooting when it gets close but mostly just fly over stuff that it could be killing. Especially structures.

I thought it was fixed for not only czar but other exps too...
I have seen it working and seen it on videos too, maybe it does not work with attacking buildings or some other weird reason.

Yeah fair enough, unless friendly fire or something. maybe I am wrong, if it was fixed in last patch never mind. havent seen it after patch.

So just had a game on death valley and CZAR didnt shoot harbs directly underneath it until I forced it too.

If you don't provide a replay we can't assess the situation.
I just tested it and the czar shot at units underneath it was just flying over
and when not given orders it started killing them on it's own.
So everything as it should be...

Works best when attack-move command is used, or you manually queue targets.

Well, I just searched buletproof_bob's game on death valley, found it and watched it twicefour times and it looks like a micro error on his part.
Edit: After two more views of the replay: He send the czar to attack a monkey, on its way there it passed the harbies but didn't fly straigth over them but a bit to the side. The czar might have been able to hit some of them with the outer edge of the aoe so maybe we could increase the firing tolerance of the czar even more. Then he targets a harby, the beam goes hot and fries some other harbies while trailing the trageted one, then gets retageted to a gc before killing all the harbies. Which then proceed to his base and kill him.

Edit 2: After some more tests I came to the conclusion that it was also because of the attack command, when a czar has a move command it shoots all enemies it flys over but with an attack command it does not.

And to show the different outcomes of different commands here is a nice replay from me:
1.Attack command on furthest unit
2.Move command over the enemy force
3.Attack move behind the enemy
4.Move command next to the enemy then let the ai attack
5.Zigzag attack commands
