Neptune Visual effect

I noticed people can handle model changes here when watching the titan head on the t3 engi car for creating the t3 mobile aa of uef and though it would be very useful to replace the battlecruiser beam with something better. The beam feels like completely wrong on an uef ship. Here my suggestion to add t3 gatlings with the damage of the beams.

Was just an idea. Uef has except satelite no other beam weapons and i didnt like this effect from the first time i ve seen it. The ship in general does not look like a uef ship. Where are the impressive guns! *running and hiding* :lol:

i kind of agree. laz0rbeams are nowhere else in the uef arsenal of weapons (apart from the satelite, where it is totally different), but it DOES look cool and impressive.

so another approach could be adding more LAZORZ to other UEF units.
On a smaller scale i could imagine them on:
- ASF (tho no idea what that would do to performance)
- fatty (instead of the little "melee" guns)
- titans

tbh the screenshot doesnt look too compelling, not sure how u made it. not even sure what it is firing. and the smoke... meh.

I simply made a screenshot where is a bc on and t3 guns firing and cut the t3 guns and moved them on the bc. The so called smoke is simply land which was under the t3 bullets :mrgreen:

Nope, disagree more than I disagreed with anything ever. The Neptune is the coolest unit in the freaking game, and TOTALLY fits the UEF, lasers included. It's such a sick unit, no way we're changing those beams!

its meant to be a sort of experimental ship. It is the most dangerous anti ship thx to its god damm lasers!
