Have you got a sweet UI mod idea?

Let me know. Has to be super sweet.

Ideas so far:
- Eco display. Show team eco. Show overflow. Show reclaim rate better. Observer see eco of all players. Graphs.
- Show eta of enemy buildings (eg: nuke)
- Show progress bar/eta of own nuke. And ... experimentals?
- AutoPing when things happen.
- Fix zoom pop
- Reclaim painter
- Allow hotbuild keys to be rebindable to secondary actions if a builder (engineer/factory) is not selected.
- Show combined resource consumption of selected units
- Show % off eco spent on land/navy/air/eco/other/etc
- Cycle units types in selection (direct/indirect/support)
- Show player ping next to score
- Reclaim Heat Map
- Transport - mark units with/without orders - darken/idle icon
- tml option to disable snap to center of target
- refresh jammer blips periodically
- show some decimal places for resource usage

One thing I have always wanted is for the economy indicator to have what I am producing plus what my allies are spilling over to me.

Example of ally spillover:
Mass: 52 + 5 57 mass/sec
Energy: 5000 + 8000 13000 energy/sec

Example of no ally spillover:
Mass: 52 + 0 52 mass/sec
Energy: 5000 + 0 5000 energy/sec

You may improve Economy Manager V3 - It's superior. The "group pause" feature is one of the best (and a bit buggy)


Also, I often make manual markers to SMD/Nukes/Gameenders. Since it is possible to have ETA on those markers make this:
You scout the enemy base - the UI Mod put a marker on a Gameender "Paragon" - recognizes the current buildpower and displays an ETA (maybe just percentage done) at this marker. If you scout twice the Mod refreshes the values to keep the informations live.
As the Paragon is done (scouted/calculated) you get a nice message (like Notify mod)

it exists but non-ui. Ally-eco

How about a ping that goes off when a transport has unloaded its cargo, or is it just me that forgets?

Frozen - what is group pause? ETA sounds intersting.

madformuse - I like that idea. I bet other things could do with a ping as well. Like when factories upgrade etc. Perhaps this could be an enhancement to Myxir's notifications mod. Would be sweet as if you could ping sightings of enemy units ... like the first time you scout they have gone t3, it pings.

As long as you don't mean nuke missile, because that would be cheating imo.
For a building it should only be shown when the building is visible, based on the build power on the building and assuming no stalling.

. It will be wrong anyway. Power stalls, change of build power, plus clock ticked over once you scouted it, could be 5 mins old already. The eta would be so out that its not cheating.

Is it possible to make a non-intrusive UI mod that shows what a selected group of engineers / buildings consume, resource wise? A total figure just like you can already see for each individual engineer and factory.

It would help with a couple of things. You can easily benchmark your production and make fine adjustments. You can determine how much you have to add to your eco infrastructure, or how much is available for other projects and upgrades. It would also be cool to know how much is used relative to your total income. Something like [total income] / [resources spent on unit production]. This would give insight into how much of a turtle you are relative to others.
