Mod search: Naval factory on land?

I would like to be able to build a naval factory on land.

I would like to be able to build a boat on land. If that boat cannot move and blocks all future builds from that factory, fine. If that boat can walk away, fine

Does this mod exist anywhere? If not, how difficult would it be to create?

I always play solo with AI, not super worried about balance.

Won't be hard to make, but pointless, boats will die immediately on creation, and the Factory might as well.

Well them dying instantly should be rectified as part of the mod. Land locked ships should behave as ships, just immobile. Except the ones with legs of course. And it's not pointless to me. How would I begin making it?

no idea amout mods but for now you can use cheats: atl+t to teleport navy factory from navy to land, or press F2 and find navy factory and spawn it

Thanks for the info, I've never toyed with cheats. But I can't build the navy in the first place on land only maps.

just alter the seafacs buildlayercaps to be land in its bp
