If you did some changes, please make a PR in the repo I posted. I can review/merge them and make a new release if needed.

It's not ready to be rated, still quite a few bugs to be fixed and a lot of testing.

Its more of a fork of the original mod at this point, with a focus on mod support and not really for ranked matches.
some major changes:
- moved the individual exp explosion scripts into defaultunits.lua (any modded units that does not destructively hook into the unit OnKilled thread will have the custom explosions applied)
- explosions does damage scaled to its size and tech level
- air crash damage is calculated instead of predefined

When can we expect this to be uploaded either to the client or here? I'd like to try it.

Hi. :D Long time no see.

So, since I've had some more time these past few days, I decided to be a little productive on this project that has unfortunately been a little overlooked for the past... Wow, has it really been 6 years?

Yes, today marks 6 years after rks_explosions V1 was first released! :D Isn't it crazy how time flies?

Anyway, without further ado, let me announce that after these long years,
rks_explosions V10 is finally scheduled for release this week!

After I get some more testing done, it's good to go. There's been a lot of code refactoring, where major thanks goes to speed2 for his help, as I probably couldn't have done it without him. :D On the effects side of things, there has been a lot of polishing as well as adding new effects and features. The list is below:

Comparative FX changes to rks_explosions V9:
-New Cybran and Aeon nuke damage FX (as i felt they were really lacking compared to UEF and Seraphim)
-New damage state FX for ALL units (Land, Air, Sea, Structure... everything), to replace the generic base game ones
-Upgrades to textures (better resolution, transparency fixing...)
-New custom explosion for Scathis
-Improvements in Experimental explosion timing and scale
-Naval units now detect whether they are exploding below or above water, and play the corresponding correct effect
-Air unit fall-down effects improved
-And more tiny changes that you will have to see for yourself. :mrgreen:

Thanks to speed2's refactoring, the mod should now also be future-proof for many patches to come.

Here are some screenshots of the damage FX. As for the rest of the new things, you'll have to see them in-game yourself. ;)

Apologies for the low res screenshots, I'm working from a temporary PC and the resolution is quite bad. Higher quality screenshots and videos will come later.

Just a small request,Could you make this version available for the vanilla version?I have tried the V9 for many times on my 3640,resulting in error.
