I'm running the following:
Common Mod Tools V1
EcoManager V11
notifications V5.1
Reveal Positions V1
UI Party V14
Zep_minmapzoom v2.
Additional Camera Stuff v3

also, toggle EM on and off in game, while annoying, is much better than having to destroy mex so thanks for that tip

yeah i think i was having the issue when i was using also UI party. But it was quite some time ago.
Anyway i discarded this ui mod, and nearly never had any issue afterwards. Although plenty of people are using ui party, and doing fine (i think).

As a side note, you may want to remove reveal positions V1 since it is integrated in the game now (just an option for host to tick)

keyser is correct: uiparty and eco manager conflict and create black boxes. disable one

Specifically the eco overlay options overlap between UI party and ecomanager so disabling that in one or the other should fix that for you.

I’m running both without such issues for example.

Are the UI and EcoManager mods legal for 1v1 ladder play or are they cheating? Or maybe, does ladder 1v1 disable such mods?

no they aren't cheating or disabled. it was a joke. there has been a lot of debate about if it is ok or not.

Any good ancillary mod (which adds control functions but does not otherwise change the game) should be incorporated into FAF itself, IMHO. Thus EcoManager and the new UI should be incorporated with set-up buttons to allow or disallow them in custom games. For the ladder 1v1, I would like to see the EcoManager enabled as part of standard FAF but it should be an upgrade. ACU's should be able to run an EcoManager upgrade which enables eco management. It would have to be decided what this upgrade should cost and which slot it would go in.

The general principle is this. Early in the game a player has time to micro eco BUT later in the game it would be good to relieve the player of eco micro to concentrate more on battles. That's just my humble opinion as a low rated player. :)

Silly question, I know, but where do I find a link to this mod (and to any other mod it needs to run)?

In the far client there is a Vaults tab where u can search for mods and maps. Eco manager also requires Common Mod Tools or something
