Unable to find file /mods/auto-adjust-netlag/modules/netlagcontrol.lua

Check the path, it's probably not right.

Zock/Zep,

I've integrated a test version of this feature into the Phantom mod (it's a lobby option, default is off). It seems to work as expected (I haven't seen any negative effects), but I don't really see that much actual difference in game play either. Usually, the best netlag value it's able to use is around 250ms. I suppose if you were playing a 1v1 against a player in the same locale, you may be able to get close to 100ms (which would be a more noticeable improvement). Anyway, I'll post an updated standalone version on here when I get a chance, and I'll keep testing it in Phantom games.

Nice!

And yes, i think this will be mainly relevant for 1v1. But 250 MS to 500 MS is already quite a difference, even when you can't feel it that much. :)

Should be able to get 30 ms to germans with fastpath option

That's a great news !

Can you try it in 1v1, even it doesn't make sense for a phantom, just to check if it can decrease a lot ? :)

Also, I'm sure sure if it's done or not, but you should clamp it to 500 ms max.
Even the game will be smoother with high pings people, it will also be unplayable :)

It's currently clamped to between 500ms (max) and highest ping (between all players) + 50 ms (min). For example, in a 1v1 scenario with a 30ms ping between the players, the net lag would be set to 80. If the ping between players was 480ms (instead of 30), then the netlag would be set to 500.

What will happen if they don't?

So, what this mod does is improve the responsiveness if everyone's ping is low?
That sounds good!

With the modvault i will use the mod now in all games. Just had first without problem.

But i'd like to know, is there a message when the net_lag is adjusted? I have no idea if it was in effect at all..
