What are the capabilities of SupCom mod tools? Can we script new adjacency bonuses for example?

Thanks a lot! I'm getting into game dev as a hobby and would love to start with a mod for one of my favorite games as practice. If anyone is willing to be a mentor to just answer quick questions that is the fastest way for me to learn the ropes.

I will probably start by trying to bring the second idea in that post to fruition.

Just wanted to pitch in that i'm having a very difficult time finding how to mod for FAF instead of just vanilla SC:FA... how does the mod workplace need to be setup? Where should I put my mod folder and structure? How do I test? (don't see any single player options to use FAF? Directly use the .exe in the bin file under programdata??)

yes use the .exe in program data, put your mod folder in the normal place (/Documents/My games/Gas Powered Games/Supreme Commander Forged Alliance/mods). everything you need to know is in the link Myxir posted (or just search those forums) the only difference with FAF is the .exe you use (unless you want to be a featured mod but thats a whole nother kettle of fish that isn't really needed now)
