Custom Strategic Icons

Hi all!!
Who knows what, where and how to add to the code, so that custom strategic icons are loaded from the mod folder ??

It is possible still but you have to manually do it at the moment the git post is to have it done automatically

So it's possible to make the changes to init.lua yourself without any repercussions when playing online?

Total mayhem lite dose this allready it has custom strategic icons but you hve to manually replace the texture file if not you can still play you just dont see a icon for that unit

Are we talking at cross purposes here? I know you can change strategic icons (advanced strategic icons does that). The question is whether and how icon textures can be loaded directly from the mod folder (or sub folders).
