issue with LOUD ai..very small units+ acu

Hey guys i just got into supcom fa and loving it so far..just wondering about a certain issue
I installed loud ai and it looks promising only apart from the units buildings etc are very small compared to normal fa
is that cause the maps are ALOT bigger?
couldnt find a answer anywhere..

I actually don't know the loud ai mod. But concerning the small icons I would propose checking out this thread here: /viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2740
It replaces the standard icons with ones that are easier to read (at least IMO) and you can choose from 3 sizes.

its not the icons tho they are fine..its the actually mapsize i think..for example it takes like 10 min to cross the whole map

Yes - the map sizes in LOUD are, in general, the large sizes, 20k and up.

LOUD has been developed with large maps and high unit counts in mind, apart from it's focus on the AI.

It takes a few games to get used to how small everything feels relative to the maps, but it is just a matter of practice.
