there is an old version of this http://www.moddb.com/mods/forged-allian ... ign-ai-v50 on the vault was wondering if this can be put in instead since its more updated

enhances the campaign ai to be more difficult almost player like difficult then just being a normal ai

ok took a quick look at that "mod"
technically the files in it are reworked map files so not a mod you can enable/disable so to play it you'd have to put the files in your map folder
no clue if the maps even work with faf due to all the changes that have been made to the game already
at best someone (speed2) can take a look at the files to see what has changed and maybe update the existing coop maps (which have been improved a lot by him in the past already to make the harder difficulties more challenging)

but just uploading that "mod" to the vault won't help anyone since it is not a mod per se

This mod was integrated into the coop few years ago, when I took over the coop I removed most of it as the main thing what it did was to improve the firendly AI, but in a way where it could win on its own. Also adding some additional fiendly ACUs to missions where they werent before, also decreasing the difficulty (or just taking some space).

Some extra attacks that were added to the enemy AI stayed (but there were also many broken ones so I had to completelly remove it from some missions).

One thing this mod lacked was really improving the enemy AI as using nukes or experimentals properly. Or making the AI use T3 navy. The things Im slowly adding now.

But as I said that was like 3 years ago? I see the latest version of this mod is 1 year old.

I might take a look at it at some point what it does now.
