How to upload mods to vault

How do I do it? Is it only possible using Downlord's client? I'm presuming I upload as a zip file - is this right?

1. you have downlord client
2. you have the mod in your mods folder set up exactly how you need to have it run in game
3. you press the uplord button and it should read the info from mod_info.lua and then do black magic to get it into vault

I did the steps, my mouse looked as if it did something but the mod doesn't show up afterwards.

It does work this way, but it is really buggy sometimes. Are there no alternatives for uploading mods?

What's inside your mod_info.lua? Sometimes this error occurs when you use special symbols.

remove empty tables from your mod_info and try again
