Cannot upload a mod

When i try to upload a mod i select the file wich he recognizes but then when i try to push the upload mod buttun nothings happens.
What am i doing wrong?

Yes, you're using a wrong client.

Also, make sure your version number isn't less than 1

so i updated my client but when i try to upload a mod i get this message:

Make sure you don't have, url = "", in your mod info file. Check the mod info file from a recently uploaded mod and compare.

I used charackters in the copyright section wich wouldn't upload. so for those who encounters simular problems ;).
