hi there xD i came here to learn how to open game source file, i dont know anything about programming (i mean i know something :P) xD i want to get some fun with graphics and settings, do you have any idea how to open game libraries?

I use 7zip as they are just standard compressed file archives.

Ok i tried but I can find settings folder where is it? Is there option of getting better graphics without editing the code? For sure I can try but how to decompile it?

As RavenCurow is saying... you need to find the game files then copy them, rename them, unzip them.

Well you can edit display settings in game. Editting the files for better graphics would involve model and texture work if you wanted something better than the base game. The base game files are in the gamedata folder in your forged alliance directory. You'll probably want to read that tutorial and look at other mods as a reference to the folder structure you need for mods and to see how other modders did things. That is how I learned.
