eeeeh.... version 4.2 the ai do not use any of the antares units and im fine with that, ESPECIALLY if removing another essential unit from the mod. really the only reason im upset is because the fryer does not shoot in faf. it shoots fine with the steam version. personally i feel this mod is not something that should be used seriously. the units are all far too overpowered to be used that way and i really dont want to have to deal with the ai hiding behind a mess of siege shields.
i use this pack only against the ai and for testing purposes. these units are god tools really, the ai should not be allowed to play with them. i see no reason why anyone would want the ai to use them.
if i had known the most recent versions removed the engineering stations, i would have used that as my first complaint.
i know i dont play this game the way most people do, but 4.2 was almost perfect outside of faf. the only complaints i had then were the damage of the uef, aeon and seraphim anti-air turret damage and ineffectiveness of their anti nuke turrets.
by this, i mean in comparison to the fryer and defender. the fryer can take down a horde of non-experimental units before they get too far into range, just like it should. it requires 3 or 4 of the uef version to be as effective as a single fryer. the uef anti nuke wont destroy the missile until it is directly above. this is ofc only effective at all because any nukes fired at me by the ai were at the anti nuke turrets. i imagine they would not work at all otherwise.
i should also point out that i have been using version 4.2 because newer versions remove the engineering stations and the fryer.
