Sadly the mod is completely broken now. (ACUs won't spawn anymore)
Would be kind if someone is able to update the mod.

Hello cel00,

i take a look at the Veterancy mod.

i am sorry, but the mod is programmed in a way, that makes it almost impossible to fix it.

Just as an example. The code looks like this:

As you can see, all variables are hidden behind ______ strings, and the code its not formated. It's a big unreadable codeblock.
This way its verry hard to read or understand, whats going on there.
(as intended from the programmer)

I am sorry, but i guess no one has the time to reconstruct the functions to update the mod.

Gee, someone actually bothered to be egoistic enough to obfuscate their lua code? Tough luck for the mod in the end then... RIP.

But i see it also as an statement from the author;

Don't touch my Mod!

Too sad, now its dead. RIP :(

How does one even go about DOING that? It goes against everything I know about lua... 0_0 (Not much to be fair)

i guess the best we could do is get "TVg b8 TotalVeterancy v1.19 beta 8" updated. that seems to be unobfuscated.
it was uploaded to the vault later, but seems like its a much lower version

Hi,

Sorry for resurrect this topic, but i would like this mods too on FAF.
I don't have experience in FA modding nor lua, so there is only a few chance that I work on it, but i found someone who de-ofusctated the V4.86 of TVg, if anyone want to take a look :

I Can't post the link (newbies rules) so search for yenon TotalVeterancy on GitHub.
(Not sure if i can post this intel since ofuscated code is some sort of copyright)
