Halo Music Mod (Assistance and Tips?)

Hello there;

I've been getting progress in bits and pieces for getting this mod around, and though I finally got the right program and format for the music here, I am uncertain of what I need to do to progress here. I obtained a little guidance from a post by Exotic_Retard (link to that post here: /viewtopic. ... ic#p113149) yet I can't figure out what I need to do from where I'm at.

I went ahead and attached a screenshot of the project, and hopefully this might reveal a little of what I have done so far. Any assistance is graciously accepted, and perhaps it could be a good little project in the end.

Aurodownload via faf, not right now, but no one is stopping you from placing files into the right folder manualy. Like with Vanilla music mod

I did download the TA music mod, although there doesn't appear to be a good explanation or view of how that mod was designed. I will check out the vanilla music mod, and maybe that one will serve me better.

first thing you need to do is read the wiki article: http://wiki.faforever.com/index.php?tit ... ting#Audio

you will notice that you need xact 2.0
and looking at your screenshot you have 3.0, so in all likelihood this wont work. you can prove me wrong but that's been a problem a few times now
there *should* be a link on the wiki to the correct version

after that just get a scripted mission like speed2's for example to play just one of your sounds
if you get to that stage you are already nearly done.

im not that experienced in vanilla music mods but afaik they use an scd to add cues to the music files in addition to the normal music. you should be able to do something similar if you just point it to your file instead of theirs
