Only One Account per Computer

I used to play FAF years ago. I didn't play too much and nobody in the community really knew me. I just decided to get back into it, but I finally have an actual online name that i go by, SgtBalanced, and would like to either change my account name on FAF, or log into my new account that I created. Unfortunately because of the one account per computer I am unable to do so. I even uninstalled FAF completely but to no avail.

Is there any solution to this?

Isn't that only for the website, and not the client?

its for the client - you will need to log into it with the new name after changing, and you cant rename more often than every 30 days
