Getting my account to work on OSX.

I have managed to get SC working on OSX through Crossover, however I can't get FAF working - it's telling me I have used Steam on this computer and need to log in (steam is not working through crossover).
I would be able to use play it well if I could get rid of that error. Any tips?

If any administrators are reading, would unlinking my account from steam work?

I was not getting the steam error in windows (which I can't install on my iMac for some reason now - keep getting an install error).

i dont know too much about this subject but i do know its possible to play FA through faf on osx (people got it working in the past).
i think you need wine and winetricks
dont know anything about steam - other than its not required

Reports said that Wine is working perfectly with FAF Client and Game.
You can get many informations in the "Linux Support is here" Thread. But please do not ask OSX specific questions there ;)

You do not need Steam installed on your PC, you only need to SteamLink your Account once!
Maybe you have installed a SupCom executable which requires Steam?
Change that.
