Is it possible to watch old times replay? [SOLVED]

Hi,

I was very active in FA in the gpgnet days, and then SupCom2 went out and I quitted the game. 5 or 6 years later, I’m back in the game (really, nothing is close to FA, even PA). But I’m worst than noob. I’m a noob with some fragment of memories of BO.

All of that to say I’d love to rewatch my replays of the old days. Is that possible with FAF?

in case of 3596, 3598, 3599 and 3603 (some people played outside of GPG on 3603 actual beta patch) you can just install FA of version that you need and watch replays

also there is a programm called version switcher (for me it known as "scrm" archive, just in case if you gonna look for it then you gonna know you found it), it allows you to watch all thouse replays with just one FA version installed
it also has been updated to be compatible with VERY old FAF replays, but that feature most likely not gonna work. (btw old FAF replays are *.scfareplay files, not *.fafreplay as they are now)

in case of FAF replays just try and maybe it will work, but there possibly will be desync

there are also FAladder replays, to watch them you need 3599 with 3603 (or 3604 3605 3606 v1 v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 or whatever ) patch mods...
also same for many of late gpg replays, also if you install wrong patch version you will just get desync and replay will not work, so i would call those replays pretty much all lost

if you want to watch something old, you can watch old casts

Edit: ohhh i didn't read correctly... there was gpgnet replay vault where you can download any replay from gpg, i do not have link now, hopefully some one will link it

Download this supcom replay manager, there should be downloadable or updatable things for each supcom version to support it, you may find where to download them while working with that manager.... hopefully
