Engineer attack move on mac

Postby thetrav » 15 Feb 2015, 23:24

So I'm running FAForever on OSX via wine. Works quite well for the most part, only problem is:
I see people on casts getting engineers to auto reclaim by setting them on attack move.
I read that holding ctrl when issuing the move order is the way to set an attack move

When I hold the mac "control" button and right click, I get the icon for a normal move order. I don't think it is attack moving.

I've looked in the keybinds (f1) and can't see anything for "attack move" there are some bindings for attack (a or shift+a) but they have no effect on the engineers.

Is anyone else there rocking FAForever on OSX and has worked this out? Alternatively is there a configuration somewhere so I can change the binding to a key I actually have?

Just on Linux here - I had similar Issues with my ALT key, because ALT+Mousemove was "move window" command.
I had to disable "global Keybinding" in my Windows-settings to get a workaround.
On the other hand you are not able to use Mediakeys or something similar.

Of course you need to remap the Applekey to a normal ALT signal.
