UI question - red, Amber, green numbers?

UI question - red, Amber, green numbers?

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help. I tried searching for this and looking in the menus etc.

At the top left on the screen, in-game, is a small box with three numbers in it: one each red Amber and green.

The numbers are usually zero but sometimes flash other numbers in there.

Anyone know what this is?

red amber green...yeah I know, that is traffic light, you need to pay attention to it, so you wont have an accident, play only when green is flashing

The only thing that is red and green there is mass and energy income, and if thats 0 all the time then you doing it wrong ;)

Ok, it looks like I might have to post a screenshot. Or maybe the following more detailed description will suffice:

At the top left, OF COURSE we have the mass and energy indicators. I am not talking about that.

To the right of that, we then have the little box that tells you how much mass and energy you have reclaimed. I am also not talking about that.

To the right of that, is yet another little box, this time containing one red, one amber and one green number. The numbers are usually zero but occasionally contain other numbers. It is this that I want to identify.

Anyone know? There must surely be a million people on here who know?

I don't remember seeing those numbers. Maybe they come from a UI mod that you have installed?

I've got the following mods installed:

Gazui
Eco manager v3

I suspect the latter but can't find any info on it, including in the eco manager thread.

If there's a button on the bottom right that extends on clicking into a "mass%" and "energy%" slider, it's the autoshare function from Ecomanager.
If other players on your team have Ecomanager installed too, (with default options) it will share overflowing energy more effectively with them. The numbers show when excess mass and energy are shared.

A ha, this is promising. Yes, there is indeed a button that does what you say.

There are THREE numbers though, so how does this correspond to excess mass and energy (which is only TWO values)?

Also, is this the excess flowing TO me, or FROM me?

Is there a proper source of info for all my questions?

There is little info about autoshare in the EM thread, so you should either PM Crotalus or test it in sandbox with another player who has Ecomanager enabled (The autoshare only works if your whole team uses it).

With one exception the autoshare wont help your team that much:
Without Ecomanager overflown energy will be split equally among your teammates, which can lead to some being wasted. Example: You overflow 4000, both teammates get 2000 but one doesn't need that much while the other one would need more. The Ecomanager autoshare will split the energy more efficient, which is the only case where autoshare gives a major advantage (at lower ratings).

Info about the UI according to the autoshare.lua :
