Shift G attack command

I have heard Brink mention this a couple of times, I am very surprised I have never heard of this before Brink mentioning it. Has it been added with FAF? I tried it but it didn't work. Just to make it clear, apparently if you select multiple bombers and press Shift G then select multiple targets each bomber will go to a different target. I might have done it in the wrong order so I will give it another go.

1) select units (any unti, not just bomber)
2) hold shift
3) right click on targets
4) Shift-G

If you set G to templates in hotbuild then you will need to rebind split attack to something else, (i put it on ctrl shift g).

Also as jmd said you queue up the targets and then press the shortcut not the other way around

If i recall correctly, Domino came up with split attack.

Does this still work after the latest patch? I use it religiously but after the patch the attacks appear to split, but all my units go for the same first target...
