New to FAF but having a problem

Ive played FA for about 2 years now and recently learned about FAF and was very excited about it. The problem was i can't find a game because my rating is so low i get kicked from every lobby i join. How can i increase my rating because im tired of not being able to play online and being labeled as a new player.

ehm, you probably are a new player:

a)
host your own games
b)
join noob games
c)
play automatch

I recommend what Sheppard said though. Try hosting or joining games with names like 'Noobs welcome' or the like. Noobs and other players will join these games and you'll gain rating and experience.

Playing on the 1v1 ladder is my preferred solution though. You'll go through a series of placement matches to find your 1V1 rating relative to all others that ladder and get a global rating from that as well.

How would this work? Would it be you go for a random search and it'd place you in a "ranked" random map lobby?
