FA or FA & SC? WHat game do I need?

Hello all,

I want to play! Do I need the original Supreme Commander game? Or can I just buy Forged Alliance and start playing on this website?

Is there a rule I can only be Seraphim race if I lack the original Supreme Commander game? What should I get?

Also I probably won't play campaigns... only multiplayer...

all you need is the stand-alone version, retail or Steam, of Forged Alliance.
Supreme Commander does not need to be installed.

However, if you have the CD-key for Supreme Commander already, try entering that key into Steam, it may allow you to download the Steam version of FA at no extra cost.
Once FA is installed, the FAF installation is simple.

Vanilla Supcom gives you 3 campaigns and an in studio map editor, if you don't care about these things, save yourself a few bucks and only get fa.
