Patching the game and lacking a CD

So I ripped an ISO of my supreme commander and forged alliance because I don't have a DVD drive in my pc (took it out to make room for watercooling). So I read that in the later version of the game I wouldn't need a CD to play? It detects my virtual drive and won't let me play at the moment. I'm pretty keen to give FAF a go but unsure how to go about manually patching the game.

Kinda all Patch Versions but Retail dont need a DVD to play the game.
Just link whatever Version you have atm to FAF and it'll patch to the very latest Version (including usefull enhancements and improvements).
