Templates?

Hi, loving playing on FAF and resurrecting the love i once had for Total Annihilation!

Basically I can figure out how you go about creating building templates. Ive seen them mentioned all over but havent seen anywhere the command or method to creating your own that i could use in custom games. Could somebody point me in the right direction please?

Also, if you have the steam version make sure you run it from steam and create a save file.... for some reason the templates do not save in FAF if you have not done so.

I have the steam version and it saves fine when i do it from faf

No, I mean if you have no steam data, it will not save..... you have to open the steam version and create a file. Even if you don't play a single game on steam you still need to create that file. I have no idea why, but if there is no file in the steam version templates from FAF will not save. Once you create the steam file everything works fine in FAF. If I remember right nothing is saved on FAF if you don't...... all lobby settings reset between games and stuff like that.

Can you walk me through the process for creating a file in steam?
