Faction Strenghts

Can someone tell me a short comprehensive message what strenghts each faction have in PvP(i do not ment PvE computer stomping chose) to select faction that fits my playstyle best.

For new players there is little difference i think, despite the obviously missing/additional units the differences are quite subtile and not like starcraft or something
