Why do I never see Sniper Bots in casts?

I have seen a lot of casts, with Heavy Assault Bots, Siege Assault Bots, Armored Assault Bots... but never Sniper bots.

The preferrred reply to this topic would be a bunch of links to replays, but the sniper bots do seem to be underused.


I've been planning to try a few of them out, but when we reach T3 usually only one ACU remains on the map.
The Sniper Bots seem to be quite nice for slowly picking off *anything*. However, if they don't show up on the casts, are they any good at all?

People are lazy.
Snipers are really, really good, but requires more efforts than making a T4.

It's all due to the fact that there is only one t3 factory, so you use it to produce the most urgent units, generally t3 tanks / shields / artilleries, rarely for snipers. And yes, it's because people are lazy to mix their armies.
With the engy redesign mod, it's easy to dedicate one factory to snipers for instance, and I'm pretty sure it makes the "rare units" much more usable (all games I watched with this mod had much larger and diverse t2 and t3 armies).

that hits the point, people dont want to hardcore kite, and care for air at T3 level

You could compensate by building more Novaxes and Mavors
