map mod paths [SOLVED]

map mod paths

I can play the game fine. but the maps I play while in fa forever are not there when i play the game alone. where does fa forever put the dl maps and mods?

maps:
C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps

mods:
C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods

these are the paths for windows 7. i do not know where they are in win xp.

Thanks! But I don't see the wyvern battle pack i keep trying to get. any ideas on that?

for the featured mods look in the gamedata and bin folder in here:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever

(in windows 7)

I don't see a C:\ProgramData\FAForever . There is no C:\ProgramData on my c: or D:

Which windows do you use?

If not look in programs or program files / FAForever ...

ProgramData is a hidden folder, so please look up how to make them visible. there are enough sources for this.

You are not supposed to do anything with the featured mods files.
They should work inside FAF and that's it, they are not "normal" mods.

Thanks so much for the quick help.
1 duh, I should of thought about the hinned file! Hell I'm A+ cert. Thanks for the reminder.
2 The mod seems to be there.
3 But the sit is the same. It doesn't show when i rune the game with out FA forever.
4 I take it that per Ze_pilot there is nothing I should do about it.
I have a win 7 os with a ssd drive and the game loaded on a data 500gig drive

You need to launch forgedAlliance with a /init flag. I won't describe how as it's not officially supported.
