Auto-banned because of smurfing

Good evening,

after a long time of being absent I realised I got banned.

Reason: Auto-banned because of smurfing detected (by duplicate email).

This "primary account" is a friend of mine. Tbh I can't explain myself this Auto-Ban.
Is it possible to get unbanned?

you probably managed to create the faf acc for your friend with the same mail address as your own acc because we didn't check for case sensitive addresses in the past
one of our admins wrote a script that banned accounts with duplicate mail addresses and changed the addresses on these duplicate accs so we wouldn't have the same address on multiple accounts

i've removed the ban on your account and asked an admin to restore the mail address on your acc again and banned the other acc instead
