My rank went down after winning a game.

Title. Played a 6v6 game which we won. It shouldn't matter according to the wiki but I got 2 kills (the others all self destructed) and survived the game. My rank went from 1106 to 1091 with unchanged uncertainty of 355.

Should this be possible? It's frustrating being stuck in low ranked games as it is. For all I know this has happened before without me noticing.

your rating before that game was 751 and the server did register your win and you gained 12 points so you have 763 now

I've checked again and its changed again. It must have registered the other game I played today to lower my rank, and then this one to raise it.

That's bizarre though as the other game I played today ended after 2 mins when someone lost con and we all left. 5 people left before me. Could that still have been ranked if a couple of people had stayed and my team had eventually lost? That seems somewhat unfair.

games are rated if the game lasts longer than 1 min times number of players

if enough people are in the game to fulfill that requirement it is rated

So even in a game that loses most of its players in the first couple of minutes we're forced to stay just in case others do? That seems irritating. Could it not be changed so that games are unranked if there are a lot of early disconnects?

that would just lead to people being able to unrate games when they don't like the start of the game (even more so than it already is the case)

i'd rather stick with a few instances where ppl lose/gain rating when leaving prematurely rather than ppl having more power to force a game to end
