After map download, do i need to move "......v0001" folder into "supreme commander forged alliance\maps"
folder?

Maps downloaded from inside the FAF client should be installed automatically, correct me if I'm mistaken.

I dont see the map that i downloaded in the skirmish settings menu.

Maps that downloaded from inside the FAF client goes in "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\user\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps", not in the game folder itself.

Try this beta version of the client https://github.com/FAForever/client/releases/download/0.11.61-pre2/Forged.Alliance.Forever-0.11.61-win32.msi It should solve this issue
