Bombers first drop

It happens that sometimes the first attack run miss the shot, its really annoying because it can f*** the snipe attempt. There are any way to prevent this?
With ground fire command happens the same?
Example: In this game i felt lazy and I went straight for Janus snipe, first attack fails and could have been fatal.

Cmon, they fly, they bomb, they kill fighters and even more (not really). They are nice.
