Authentification fail

I am at the point where I can create an account, and an email arrives in my inbox. When I press the link however, it always says it is invalid or the key has expired. Help please?

Hello,
FAF just underwent a server migration. It was a major change and many problems arose. The developers are working hard on resolving them.
Migration status: http://faf.statuspage.io/
The linked page says new user sign up is fixed, but new users still report problems with that.
I think things will get better in a few days.
