Problem installing FAF client

Hi,
After the update I cannot get the FAF client working,
I tried installing fresh install, It says I need an update right away then I get 2 options when i open it up, 1. repair 2. uninstall
When i hit repair, I get the message "The specified account already exists". Then it exit out..

Any ideas?

I can still play on vanilla steam version just not faf.

Reinstall FAF now, it should be updated to the latest version.

Looks like this issue is still ongoing. I am having the same issue where I am unable to update the FAF client. I tried logging into FAF today 07/02 with version of 0.11.34+319 and got the request to update. It then downloads the update and after trying to install get the error MSG " The Specified account already exists." I have tried uninstalling the client and reinstalling fresh but end up with the same issue even after rebooting.

Any suggestions regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get new installer from the web? (its same name as old one).
You need to install the present installer, It worked for me
