Uploaded Faf fine can't select folder [SOLVED]

I'm trying to play FAF on a different computer and i uploaded it and got on fine. When i try to host/join a game or watch a replay it wants me to select a folder. I selected my FAF folder just fine but it won't let me press finish-which is highly annoying because it shows every time i want to play...Has anyone run into this problem/can anyone help? Also sorry if this is an easy fix I'm not great with computers.

Maybe i will not be helpfull but
Common mistake is:you need to choose supcom FA folder, not "bin" folder where you have FA.exe

So it should looks like this
D:/games/supreme commander forged alliance

And NOT like this D:/games/supreme commander forged alliance/bin

This is the one i think is correct C:\Program Files (x86)\Forged Alliance Forever but again when i select it, it is not letting me press finish.

Game folder, not faf folder.

Where you installed supreme commander FA....

Been looking sorry I'm not great at this stuff as easy as it is, can you give me an example of yours?

ahah found the game folder! should i use the game folder and not go farther in?

I am not on PC atm but i will try
1) so you must have game installed and be able to play offline even without FAF, it also must be 3596 3599 3603 or steam version (1.1.6)
2) it must not be "cracked" or "pirated" version
3) folder often looks like that
D:/games/supreme commander: Forged alliance
Or whatever folder you install all your games at
4)Now of course you need to have FAF programm installed, FAF is not a game but a program that helps you to play online
It is usually installed on C:/programm files/forged alliance forever
Or whatever folder you keep your programs at ..

Don't confuse FAF(program) and FA(game)
You need to choose game folder not FAF folder
You need to choose folder, not "exe" file, and not where "exe" file stored...

Well, for me it is
D:/SC:FA/Supreme Commander: Forged alliance folder

And on laptop i use steam version so folder looks like C:/program files/steam/steamapps or so/common/supreme commander forged alliance

I think folder pretty much always should have exactly "supreme commander: forged alliance" , unless you manually renamed it

Not much of your fault, as i said it is a common mistake, everyone just tryes to select "forged alliance.exe" that is located in bin folder and not folder where you installed game...
