Connection problems

Postby WHDesign » 13 Nov 2015, 21:38

Hey everyone,

i don't know if anyone has this issue, but quite regularly my FAF gives some message about the connection being lost. This happens both while on the FAF client, as well as in a game lobby or game. I don't know what causes it, and i've fiddled around with the port and UPNP connection. Can anyone explain and/or help?

I'm not a technical person but could you give more info on the problem? Otherwise we have to guess at the problems. What does the message say?

Well, its something about the connection being to the lobby being lost, and it says i'll have to try again later but still might be able to connect to chat. That's basically it...

I noticed this on the FAF website page. It's the third announcement down.

It has come to our attention that recently people who had UPnP enabled have had their settings unintentionally revoked by the most recent client update.

If you’re experciencing issues, please make sure you’ve enabled the following tickbox in your client (In the menu bar, select Options->Settings->Game port):

And then tick called "use UPnP"
