Mumble not working [SOLVED]

I want to use Mumble to talk to my son (he is in a different room and we don't want to yell all the time) when we are in a game but I can't get it to work. If we join some random public server it works, we can talk to each other.

I did everything this http://wiki.faforever.com/index.php?tit ... 8Mumble%29 wiki page tells me to do. When I start the FAF lobby, Mumble is executed as well and we both are in the Games channel (which is muted), this is also the case when we are in a game.

When my son starts a game and I join, we cannot hear each other. So I would expect to be launched into some game channel but this is not the case. When I had the overlay turned on I did see all kind of user names in the right side of the screen but I turned it off for obvious reasons.

Is there anything I can do to make it work?

And what if you both just join one of the many channels there? Does that work?

Yes that works, for example if we join Aeolus / British. But when we start a game we are not transferred to some game team chat, we just stay in Aeolus / British where everyone can hear us if they join that channel. That's not how it is supposed to work imo.

In theory we found this guide and put it on wiki in hope it'll work, no one complained so far. You sure you did everything right?

The problem is that as far as I can see no team channels are created at all, I don't see any team channels with names like 825761-2. I guess I'll set up my own private Mumble server on my pc.
