Cant host or join faf games [SOLVED]

So every time today i try to join friends or make my own game in faf it tells me to "select a folder" and when i do, nothing happens. i have tryed all the foldes for faf and steam. also i can play fa on steam so idk what to do.

its asking for Supreme Commander Forged Alliance folder, usually for steam:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

or wherever you have installed it
