They should pick up FAF and renew it with that engine. That would be cool

Daam seems this game will be bether then FA by far.

Does this means FA with down to 2 best rts game?

They will suport the game + then 7 years and later will come also with naval and lots new things after released ...im already imagine wow.

Not talk the dx 12 and 1 engine using new tecnology with microsoft help

Looks like strategic zoom won't be a feature...

We don't plan to have icons on the main map. The mini-map will show a lot of strategic info and allow players to guide things. But we don't intend for the game to be played with the player zoomed out to the whole map and manipulating icons. For one thing, Meta units have special abilities and that will require the player to be reaosnably close to the map to make intelligent decisions on what to target.

Total Annihilation is probably a closer comparison for what we're going for.

Sounds like they want to make some sort of amalgamation of Starcraft and TA. Your going to have thousands of units but you will also have these certain units that will be really important and sounds like they will have a number of special abilities. You will also have territory that will play a role in the game. There will be no strategic zoom, at least they don't want there to be. One of the units they show off has the ability to hover but not just that it has a reason in the story that this game will have to hover. Why a unit needs a story reason to have an ability I don't know but whatever. They also want to have a tech tree where you will upgrade your existing units as you go.

They're already talking about sequels........ I think its a tad early to talk about that.

I may still get this game but all the this stuff combined doesn't sound like something I would want to play, but hey that's just me.
