About a year according to the voice in the video. You can go in for early alpha with pre-order, but I won't.

As that was my question too; did not see anything in their forums, but at a first look article the author to the article says yes to just such a question posted below his article.

It is going to be a StarDock game so I think it will be. I just hope it is not like Sins where you had to replace a unit in the game or add another faction to get new units.

Had a bit more time to read through their website material. I am going to hold off on it till I see some more video. Things that turned me off: research, four resources, map control points, and 2v2 multiplayer game.

One interesting thing (know Resin would be interested) they implemented full true line of sight. If a unit is behind a hill, you will not be able to see it. Wonder if that works for radar.

Awesome! But can't really tell whether it will be good or not, not that much info out there. If 2v2 really is the max team size then I expect that will be its downfall.
