Featured mod in FAF bring nothing because they are chosen use the same script that FAF so in one word useless.

Not even the 3599 is a part of it. If will would have a 3599 + a ladder for it the community would have be at least 2 time bigger and the featured mod would have a meaning not like now.

Sure not all mod will be played that is why I said for the most played mod a ladder make sense

That's not true at all.
It depend of what the author of the featured mod wants. That's the whole point of function, not being limited by anything.
(ie. blackops still use 3625 patch, balance mod use no base version).

Also useless is a big statement : it allow playing any mod by double clicking on a icon, no extra work needed, and allow modifications that normal mods can't do (lobby/sounds/icons included).

It also allow fast find in replay, mod downgrading for replay compatibility, ....

It's not because you don't understand something that it's useless.

Not even the 3599 is a part of it.

Neither 3596, 3598, 3603, 3604, 3605, 3606, 3607, 3608, 3609, 3610, 3611, 3612, 3613, 3614, 3615, 3616, 3617, 3618, 3619, 3620, 3621, 3622, 3623, 3624.
3625 is there but as base for some featured mods like nomads, diamond,....

It's just a patch version like there were many, it has nothing special.

It would have a meaning for you, but you are not everyone. People don't care about 3599, deal with it.
Also, your mod is NOT 3599 at all.

Sorry but I have done a true 3599 and also another one that I called 3599 unleashed that I rename FA_UNLEASHED to not confuse peoples.

its called free software for a reason, which is you can change it if you want to.
your arguments for java are not solid and you are gonna waste a lot of time if you implement
