Total Annihilation 2

Chris Taylor is thinking about to create a new RTS game and it could be Total Annihilation 2. But he has no idea at this point how he can handle this. I thought they are creating a f2pay browser game ... but could it be that wargamming would give him the money? And i don't know it but who has the TA rights?

Call me cynical, but it seems a rather peculiar coincidence that CT would suddenly decide he wants to make another TA-style game while PA is in development, and he's gone on record as saying he doesn't think that PA will work.

For him, it's too many places to have a war.
Something from him would stick to the 3 places: Water, Air, Land. Only one land, though. Having multiple lands is too much in his eyes.

I kind of agree with him. I don't really think PA will be enjoyable as a multi-planet battleground. I think I will have more fun playing 1 or 2 planets max.

I just hope the game will not be over-simplified (micro tricks, ...) to make multi-planet battle manageable.

They don't hold the rights of Total Annihilation, so it'd have another name. And on top of that I find it rather annoying that, now he saw PA got funded, he's trying to get money that way too. I'd love another TA tho
