Can i actually support gpg by buying their games

I am currently kinda confused about gpgnet currently.
Basically i want to know if i can actually support gpg by buying their games or if they dont even get the money for the game anymore (because the franchise is sold or whatnot)

i want to try to give you an answer, but all i have read about it is from this forum. all i say can be completely wrong, but this is what i remember:
gpg programmed supcom and supcom:fa. the publishing rights were sold to thq (they are bankrupt and selling them again). i think i have read that the publishing rights and the company, who gets the money are also different...

i do not know, whether the company with the publishing rights (or that other company) receives all the money (besides the money steam takes for themselves), but they certainly receive the most of it.

in short:
you MIGHT support gpg a LITTLE bit when you buy the game. i think none of the money goes to gpg.
